KIEV, Sept. 17 - The EMZ Group, a division of System Capital Management's Metinvest steel holding, reports a 5% year-on-year increase in shipments of finished roll to 1.749 million tons in the first eight months of 2007.

Shipments of long products jumped 19.8% to 318,955 tons, while production of flat products remained unchanged at 1.357 million tons, the group, which includes the Yenakiyeve Metallurgical Plant (EMZ) and Ukrainian-Swiss joint venture Metalen, said in a press release.
