KIEV, Sept. 17 – Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych’s Regions Party said Monday it had collected 3 million signatures in support of a controversial referendum to grant Russian language an official status and to reverse Ukraine’s accession to NATO.

The amount of signatures collected over the past 10 days shows that the party has been massively spearheading its campaign on issues that its critics say are divisive to Ukraine.
