KIEV, Sept. 17 - The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in commodities from January to July 2007 was estimated at $5.25 billion, a 53.8% or $1.837 billion year-on-year increase, the State Statistics Committee reported.
The committee said that the export of commodities over the seven months was estimated at $27.371 billion, while imports were at $32.621 billion. In January through July, exports grew by 31.9% year-on-year, while imports increased by 35% year-over-year.
