ODESSA, Sept. 10 - Odessa will have to build a new stadium to host matches of the European Football Championship in 2012, Odessa Deputy Mayor Mykhailo Kuchuk said at a briefing.

He said the number of national teams participating in the finals of the European Football Championship would increase from 16 to 24.

"This will give us the opportunity host several matches in Odessa," he said.
