KIEV, Sept. 7 – The government official in charge of Ukraine’s privatization effort has cast doubt on the Cabinet of Ministers projection of UAH7 billion in privatization revenues that is being used—along with UAH10.7 of borrowing—to partially offset government spending in the 2008 budget.
"Everything was stolen before me – what I can speak about? Perhaps, we'll be able to sell objects with land line Bolshevik Plant in Kiev," State Property Fund chair Valentyna Semeniuk told Interfax-Ukraine, commenting on the 2008 draft national budget adopted by the cabinet on Wednesday.
