KIEV, Sept. 7 – The cabinet has proposed allocation of almost UAH2 billion in the 2008 national budget for the compensation of the difference between the price of imported gas that the national Naftogaz Ukrayiny has to buy, and the price of the gas it sells to heat supply enterprises.

"The price of heat will remain the same for households next year. The compensation needed for this, will be foreseen in full in the national budget," First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mykola Azarov said.
