KIEV, Aug. 28 - The demarcation of the Russian-Ukrainian land border will hopefully start this year, Ukrainian Ambassador to Russia Oleh Diomin said.

"I think that since the resolution of this issue has been assigned to the intergovernmental commission, the demarcation of the land border will start this year," Diomin said in Kiev on Tuesday.

"The intergovernmental commission has finally started working, and its co-chairman on the Russian side has finally been appointed," Diomin said.
