KIEV, Aug. 29 – The share of foreign capital in Ukrainian banks' total charter capital shrank to 31.7% by the end of July, from the 32.8% registered late in June, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

The total registered charter capital of Ukrainian banks grew by 3.5% in July 2007, to UAH 32.59 billion. Since the beginning of the year, it has increased by 24%, from UAH 26.266 billion.

As was reported, early this year, the share of foreign capital in Ukrainian banks' total charter capital was 27.6%.
