KIEV, Aug. 27 – Cherkasy-based Azot has asked the State Propriety Fund for information on a tender to sell the Odessa port-side plant, the SPF's press service told Interfax-Ukraine.

SPF head Valentyna Semeniuk said that a similar request was made by Moscow-based OAO EuroChem Mineral and Chemical Company.

She said that she expects applications from other potential candidates to buy the plant.
