KIEV, Aug. 24 - Ukraine's national budget deficit stood at UAH1.1 billion in January-July 2007, or 0.3% of GDP, the Economy Ministry reported.

The budget was mostly financed in January-May by resources on its accounts, plus borrowings in June and July.

Total government borrowings on the domestic and foreign markets stood at UAH2.1 billion and UAH2.5 billion respectively in the seven-month period.
