KIEV, Aug. 27 - Ukraine plans over the next five years to borrow $2.5 billion - $3 billion from international financial institutions annually, the Economy Ministry said.
Several projects with international financial institutions are in the planning stations, including 16 projects involving the country's biggest creditors - the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for $2.2 billion.
Ukraine has received $4.41 billion from the International Monetary Fund, $4.5 billion from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and $667 million from the International Finance Corporation since it began working with these organizations. The EBRD has invested about 2.8 billion euros in Ukraine and the Black Sea Bank for Trade and Development has invested about $100 million.
