KIEV, Aug. 21 – Mariupol Illich Steel Mill in Donetsk region in H1 increased investment in building, reconstruction, repairs and upgrades, buying new equipment and machinery by 19.6% or by UAH111 million year-on-year, to UAH677.5 million, the mill reported.

The mill said that in Q2, UAH392 million was allocated for these purposes.

According to the company, in Q2 the work of the mill was focused on carrying out capital repairs. In April through June, work in the blast furnace, converter and limekiln departments was performed, causing a fall in pig iron and steel output at the mill.
