KIEV, Aug. 17 – The Antimonopoly Committee has allowed a TuranAlem Bank subsidiary, Almaty-based BTA Insurance, to buy over 25% of Kiev-based Insurance Company Oranta, the AMC announced.

As was reported, the SPF on July 18 announced a tender to sell a stockholding worth 25% of the statutory fund plus one stock in Oranta at an auction. The starting price was set at UAH80 million. The tender will take place 75 days after its announcement.
