KIEV, Aug. 16 – Ukraine's state company UkrInterEnergo (the Ukrainian electricity exporter) and Moldova's Energocom have signed a supplement to their contract on electricity supplies, proposing a gradual rise in prices for Ukrainian electricity exported to Moldova, UkrInterEnergo President Mykola Pashkevych told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that the electricity price set by Energocom in July was $0.03 per kWh, while in August it grew by $0.001 to $0.031. The signed supplement to the contract foresees a monthly increase of $0.001 per kWh in the price of electricity exported to Moldova.
