KIEV, Aug. 16 - Ukraine seeks investors for a EUR650 million project to increase extraction of brown coal at two deposits and to build a fossil-burning power plant nearby to generate power, the coal industry ministry reported Thursday.

The project, aimed at increasing Ukraine’s energy security, would also allow increasing power exports to Europe and will help create up to 30,000 jobs, the ministry said.
