OSLO, Aug. 8 - Norwegian telecoms operator Telenor ASA said it wants an extraordinary general meeting held in order to resolve an acrimonious legal battle with Russian investment group Altimo over their joint investment in Ukraine, Thomson Financial reported.

Telenor and Altimo have locked horns over their holding in lucrative Ukrainian operator Kyivstar, in a dispute over the direction and ultimate control of the company which has spilled over into court battles in the US and the former Soviet state.
