KIEV, Aug. 3 – President of Kiev-based Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), Yuriy Miroshnikov has said that if Ukraine joins the Open Skies agreement of the European Union, domestic carriers would not be able to compete.

"The quick cancellation of restrictions [on flights in European airspace] would destroy Ukrainian airlines," Miroshnikov said at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.
