KIEV, Aug. 2 – Ukraine's Coal Industry Ministry, from 2005 to H1 2007, used over UAH2 billion in state budget assets in violation of the law, which accounts for 58% of state spending on the coal industry, an audit shows.

The conclusion was reached by the collegium of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine after an audit of the ministry's activity over the last two-and-a-half years, the chamber reported.
