KIEV, Aug. 1 – The Ukrainian hryvnia is underestimated, although the revaluation of it is out of place now – the stable hryvnia exchange rate remains a considerable guiding line for the country's economy, according to Association of Ukrainian Banks President Oleksandr Suhoniako.
"At present, factors, which affect the strengthening or weakening [the hryvnia exchange rate] are balanced... I don't see an objective cause for speaking about the revaluation of devaluation today. However, I agree with the fact that the hryvnia exchange rate is underestimated," he said on Tuesday.
