KIEV, July 26 - A train carrying yellow phosphorus gathered from the scene of a recent railway disaster in Lviv region, Ukraine, left the Krasne station for Kazakhstan accompanied by two fire-fighting trains early on Thursday, the Ukrainian Emergency Situations ministry has reported.
Two carloads of coke and 15 tanker cars filled with yellow phosphorus derailed at the 12th kilometer of the Ozhydiv-Krasne run in Lviv region on July 16. The cargo, dispatched by Kazakhstan's Kazfosfat company, which makes yellow phosphorus and fertilizers, was traveling to Poland.
