KIEV, July 19 - Emergencies Minister Nestor Shufrych has praised the results of the latest meeting of the Donor Assembly of the EBRD's Nuclear Safety Account and the Assembly of Contributors to the Chernobyl Shelter Fund.

"The success of the government delegation [the minister] headed during the meetings of two assemblies has exceeded all expectations. With no delays, the assembly has endorsed the financing of Chernobyl programs worth about $ 1 billion," the ministry's press service reported on Thursday.
