KIEV, July 20 – Ukraine’s dismal grain harvest, struck by severe drought, may be even poorer than previously expected, Agriculture Policy Minister Yuriy Melnyk said, citing preliminary reports from regions.

Ukraine may produce only 27 million metric tons of grain, not the 28 million tons recently projected, and down from 38 million tons the government had originally forecast.
