KIEV, July 10 - Ukraine might significantly increase its role in Europe through its energy activities, said Anne-Marie Lizin, president of the Belgian Senate and special representative of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
At a meeting with Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz in Kiev on Monday she stressed the importance of energy relations for the European Union, which concerns Ukraine, Russia, and partly Belarus, and suggested that Ukraine might significantly increase its role in Europe through operations in the energy sector.
