KIEV, July 5 - President Viktor Yushchenko has condemned the privatization policies being carried out by Ukraine’s government, branding them "foul, unclear and opaque."

"An unclear, foul, and extremely opaque policy is being carried out in this sphere," Yushchenko said at a meeting with Ukrainian business leaders in Kiev.

The schemes used in privatization in Ukraine seriously harm the country's image, he said.
