KIEV, July 2 – Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych has directed relevant governmental departments to draft proposals concerning the preparation of the Olimpiisky national stadium in Kiev to hold the finals of the European Football Championship in 2012 and the construction of a new stadium in Kiev to the highest European and world standards.

Yanukovych signed the order after a meeting on preparations for Euro-2012 that he chaired before Constitution Day on June 28, the governmental press service reported on Monday.
