KIEV, July 3 - Kiev will host the summit of the European Union on Sept. 14, Presidential Secretariat deputy head Oleksandr Chaly announced at a briefing in Kiev on Tuesday.

"We expect that the summit of the EU will take place in Kiev on Sept. 14 during Portugal's presidency of the EU," he said.

He said the summit would discuss the enhanced agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
