KIEV, July 3 - The World Bank has lowered its inflation forecast for Ukraine to 9.7% from 10.9% for 2007, Martin Raiser, World Bank chief economic advisor in Ukraine, said Tuesday.
The GDP growth forecast was raised to 6% from 5.5%, he said.
The World Bank has kept its GDP forecast at 5.5% for 2008 and at 5% for 2009, while it has adjusted its inflation forecast for 2008 to 9.6% from 9.4% and to 8.3% from 8.2% for 2009, he said.
