KIEV, June 22 - The creation of UkrGaz-Energo did not increase the monopolization of the natural gas market, Oleksiy Kostusev, head of Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee, believes.

"Earlier, virtually all the market of natural gas was monopolized by one company - Naftogaz Ukrayiny, and it is clear that when UkrGaz-Energo entered that market, its monopolization did not increase. Whether it dropped or not, it is another question, but it definitely did not increase," he said during an open meeting of the committee.
