KIEV, June 7 - Oil extraction in Ukraine in January through May grew by 2.3% or 31,200 tonnes year-on-year, to 1.389 million tonnes, the Fuel and Energy Ministry reported to Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

Gas condensate extraction fell by 8.7% or by 46,700 tonnes, to 486,600 tonnes.

The enterprises of national JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy over this period increased oil extraction by 2.1% or 18,900 tonnes, to 1.248 million tonnes, including a 9% fall in gas condensate extraction, to 450,900 tonnes.
