KIEV, June 6 - President Viktor Yushchenko met foreign diplomats on Wednesday to assure them that Parliament has no authority following his decree that has set early election on Sept. 30.

Yushchenko issued a decree this week dissolving the legislature after more than 150 opposition lawmakers quit their seats in Parliament to open door for the election and in line with political agreement between the opposition and pro-government parties.
