KIEV, June 5 ??“ Around 650,000 hectares of fields with crops have been damaged by drought in Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Slauta said.

"Last week, 407,000 hectares of [winter crops died], today this figure is around 650,000 hectares. I think that it will remain at this level," he was quoted as saying by Interfax-Ukraine.
