KIEV, June 1 ??“ EnergoAtom, the state-owned nuclear power producer, plans to start power exports to European markets, said Mykyta Kostiantynov, EnergoAtom first vice president for economic policy and corporate development.

"Our immediate plans are to build DC links at the Ukrainian border, [allowing] the participation of EnergoAtom in the European energy trade and European electricity distribution [using electricity] generated at Ukrainian nuclear power plants," he said at a Ukrainian-Russian Investment Forum in Kiev.
