ZAGREB, May 31 ??“ Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko and Croatian President Stjepan Mesic have called for the liberalization of the visa regime between their two countries.

They presented their assessment of the visa regime at a joint press conference in Zagreb on Thursday.

"We have agreed that the visa regime is a barrier to the development of trade and economic relations," Mesic said, according to an Interfax report.
