KIEV, May 29 - Ukraine's Parliament began quickly approving laws on Tuesday for early national poll designed to end months of confrontation between pro-Western President Viktor Yushchenko and Moscow-leaning Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych.

The president dissolved Parliament and called a new election, triggering weeks of tense negotiations that had ended with a weekend agreement to hold the poll on Sept. 30.
