KIEV, May 21 ??“ The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will hold its 2008 annual meeting in Kiev, the press and external affairs officer of the EBRD's office in Kiev, Anton Usov, told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.

The meeting was originally supposed to be held in London.

"The decision on holding the 2008 meeting in Kiev was taken on Monday and will be officially announced today," Usov said speaking by phone from Kazan, where 2007 annual EBRD meeting is currently underway.
