KIEV, May 21 ??“ Ukrainian agricultural meteorologists forecast the loss of part of the grain harvest in southern, eastern and central regions of the country due to the drought.

"The drought is developing very quickly. The situation is very difficult. Taking into account that precipitation is not forecasted until the end of the month, the consequences for the crops could be irreversible," the head of the agrarian meteorological department of the Ukrainian hydro-meteorological center, Tetiana Adamenko, has told Interfax-Ukraine.
