KIEV region, May 18 ??“ Ukrenergo, the national energy company, is to borrow UAH 1.5 billion from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to build overhead power lines linking the Rivne nuclear power plant with the Kievska power substation.

"The first loan guarantee agreements with the EIB are expected to be signed late in June or in July," Deputy Fuel and Energy Minister Volodymyr Luchnykov said, according to Interfax report.
