KIEV, May 8 - Electricity generation in Ukraine in 2007 could grow by 0.9% compared to 2006, to 193.8 billion kWh, and its consumption, including transmission losses in energy grids, could grow by 0.3%, to 181.3 billion kWh.
The figures are set by an electricity, fuel and energy companies expense forecast for 2007.
According to the document, electricity generation at NPPs this year could grow by 1.3% year-on-year, to 91.4 billion kWh, and at thermal power plants by 3.2%, to 72.1 billion kWh.
