KIEV, May 8 ??“ Ukraine's nuclear power plants boosted electricity generation by 2.5% in January through April 2007 year-on-year, to 33.09 billion kWh, EnergoAtom, the state nuclear power generator, reported.

In April, Ukrainian NPPs generated 8.074 billion kWh, a 15.2% increase year-on-year.

In January through April 2007, Ukraine's nuclear power plants over-fulfilled their electricity generation target by 3.9%, outstripping it in April by 9.6%, the Energoatom report reads.
