KIEV, April 27 ??“ PrivatBank, Ukraine??™s largest bank by assets, it is to increase its statutory capital by 30%, or UAH 631.25 million, to UAH 2.713 billion, via an additional issue of shares, the bank reported.

The increase of its statutory capital will be discussed at a general stockholders' meeting on May 12, 2007, the bank said.
