KIEV, April 28 ??“ Ukraine's national budget for January-March 2007 had a UAH 4.018 billion surplus, whereas over the same period last year the budget had a deficit of UAH 1.586 billion, the Economy Ministry's Web site reported.

"In March, the national budget was in deficit to UAH 610.3 million. In general, from January to March 2007, the revenues of the national budget were UAH 4 billion [in surplus], compared to a UAH 1.6 billion deficit registered over the same period in 2006," reads the report.
