KIEV, May 1 ??“ The Central Election Commission has finally started preparing for the June 24 general election after several members of the commission recovered following their two-week illnesses.

Sviatoslav Piskun, who was recently re-installed as the prosecutor general by President Viktor Yushchenko, met commission chairman Yaroslav Davydovych to discuss the preparations.
