KIEV, April 26 ??“ PrivatBank, Ukraine??™s largest bank by assets, in January through March 2007 increased its total assets by 17.9%, to 39.843 billion hryvnias, the bank reported Thursday.

The volume of credits issued during the period under review grew by 6.9%, to UAH 30.743 billion, including growth in credits to companies of 6.3%, to UAH 18.287 billion, while credits to individuals grew by 7.7%, to UAH 12.457 billion.
