KIEV, April 25 - Ukraine's direct and guaranteed state debt fell 4.5% to $15.23 billion in the first quarter of 2007, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry said in a statement posted on its website. The state debt fell 3.31% in March.

Ukraine's debt fell in the first three months of the year mainly as a result of a reduction in direct foreign debt, the statement says.
