KIEV, April 20 - Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Ukraine??™s second biggest bank by assets, on Friday raised a two-year $500 million syndicated loan, the largest amount that had been ever borrowed by a Ukrainian bank.

"This is the biggest agreement in the history of Ukraine's banking system," Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, the bank's CEO, said.
