KIEV, April 18 ??“ Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Slauta has warned that the dry weather spell in some Ukrainian regions may affect the condition of grain crops.

"Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions are facing a real threat," he told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

If it does not rain in the next ten days, Ukraine will have to review its grain forecast for 2007, he added.
