KIEV, April 13 - Banks in Ukraine increased assets 11.2% in the first quarter of 2007 to UAH 392.6 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine said on its website, citing preliminary first quarter results.

Credit operations make up 77.9% of combined assets and investment in securities - 3.9%.
