KIEV, April 11 - The executive board of Naftogaz Ukrainy approved a program of work to explore and develop the Alam El Shawish East, oil and gas block in Egypt, the company said in a statement.

The document was developed to implement a concession agreement between Egypt and Naftogaz Ukrayiny on the prospecting, exploration and development of oil ands gas fields in the Alam El Shawish East block, signed in December 2006.
