KIEV, April 10 ??“ Ukraine's industrial output grew by 12.5% on the year in the first quarter of 2007, compared with 13.4% in the first two months of 2007, the State Statistics Committee reported on Tuesday.

In March 2007 alone, industrial production increased by 10.7% from March 2006, whereas in February 2007 it was 11% and in January 15.8% year-over-year.

The committee said the amount of industrial output in March 2007 rose by 12.9% over February 2007.
