KIEV, April 4 ??“ President Viktor Yushchenko will Thursday hold an emergency meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, a body that advises him on strategic issues, the presidential office reported Wednesday.

Before the meeting, Yushchenko will hear report from Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko over actions that the prosecutor office has taken over the past several days.
